Income Tax department officials on Wednesday raided the residence of Bollywood’s renowned director and producer Anurag Kashyap, actress Taapsee Pannu and filmmaker Vikas Ball.

MUMBAI: New Delhi: Income Tax department officials on Wednesday launched a raid on Bollywood’s renowned director and producer Anurag Kashyap, actress Taapsee Pannu and filmmaker Vikas Ball.
Income Tax Department sources told IANS News that the tax department officials are conducting raids and searching around 20 locations in Mumbai and Pune, including the residence, property and office of Anurag Kashyap, Taapsee Pannu and Vikas Bahl.
These celebrities have their residence and office in Mumbai and have been attacked by IT officials. The search is said to be in connection with tax fraud. Producer Madhu Mantena, who co-owns Phantom Films Production House along with Anurag Kashyap, is said to have carried out an IT raid on his home.
The trio have been voicing their views on social media in support of the peasant protests in the country’s capital since November 26 last year.
