Corona Latest News: The condition of Corona in the country is continuously deteriorating. Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka are among the states where corona cases are increasing. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to have a meeting with the Chief Ministers of all the states on Thursday to review the situation. It is believed that there will be a churn in this meeting to increase the speed of vaccination. However, it is unlikely that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will attend this important meeting. Let me tell you, voting is going on for the assembly elections in Bengal and Mamata Banerjee is expressed in the election campaign. Meanwhile, the Delhi High Court has asked the Central Government and the Election Commission what their opinion is on making masks mandatory in election rallies. A petition was filed in this regard in the High Court.

At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took his second dose of Corona vaccine on Thursday morning. The PM shared a photo of it on his Twitter handle and wrote, « Today I got my second Corona vaccine in AIIMS. This vaccine can protect us from the corona epidemic. If you are also eligible who must get vaccinated. There are two nurses who have given COVID19 vaccine to PM Narendra Modi at AIIMS in Delhi – P. Niveda from Puducherry and Nisha Sharma from Punjab.

On Wednesday, for the first time, 1.15 lakh new cases were found after the epidemic surfaced. In the past two months, the daily cases of infection have increased 13-fold. Around four months later, 630 people have also died. About 50 per cent of the new cases are from Maharashtra alone.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Chief Ministers at 6.30 pm. Earlier on 17 March, the Prime Minister had taken a similar meeting with the Chief Ministers through video conferencing. Earlier on Sunday also, the Prime Minister had taken a high-level meeting with the officials.

Night curfew in Lucknow, Kanpur and Varanasi: Night curfew has been imposed in the capital Lucknow, Kanpur and Varanasi since Thursday night in view of rising corona virus infection in Uttar Pradesh. The ban will continue until April 30 in the three cities. On Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh reported 6,023 new cases of 40 Kovid-19. So far, a total of 8,964 patients have died in the state and the figure of infected has reached 6,45,930.
