New Delhi, April 18: A major decision has been taken to postpone the JEE Main Coronation (JEE Main) in April (JEE Main April Session Postponed). The JEE Main exam was to be held from April 27 to 30. However, there was a demand from the students to postpone the exam. As such, it has been decided to postpone the exam for the safety of the students. The decision has been made by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
The NTA said the decision to postpone the exam in April was taken in view of the current situation in Corona and the safety of candidates and officials. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has confirmed the news. « Given Corona’s current position, I would advise the NTA to postpone the JEE (Main) – April 2021 session, » he said. Students will be informed about the new date of the postponed examination fifteen days before the examination. Students need to check the official website of NTA for more updates.
