Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is taking it seriously before making his debut later this year.
« Bones, » who broke the light heavyweight sling last year, is preparing his body for it struggling north of 205 pounds and he took to social media Wednesday to demonstrate his progress. In the post, he claimed he weighed 250 pounds and he provided pictures to back it up.
On Instagram, Bones wrote, « It feels good not to be deprived of my food. I can’t get any of my suits but I move well. » 250 #. “See caption and pictures below:
“ It will be nice not to have to cut a pound, right? ”A UFC fan wrote to Jones on Twitter, where he also shared his progress.
Bones replied the fan, but quickly deleted his tweet afterwards. « I still haven’t got my head all the way around it, seems too good to be true, » Jones tweeted. « It’s going to be great in 2021. Excited to hit some fools on the head. “
UFC President Dana White has confirmed to the media that Jones could take an instant heavyweight title shot behind Francis Ngannou in # 1.
