At around 7:10 a.m., a Holden Barina and a truck collided on the Flinders Highway about 40 km east of Charters Towers.
The Barina driver and passenger, a 49-year-old woman from Garbutt and an 8-year-old girl were declared deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and appealing to anyone who has been on the Flinders Highway and may have information or dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
