At the European Biathlon Championships in Poland, the women’s individual race ended. Russian biathlete Larisa Kuklina became a bronze medalist.
Kuklina made one mistake in the shooting and lost 15.5 seconds to the first polka Monica Hojnisch. The winner, with one miss, covered the distance of 15 kilometers in 45 minutes 17.1 seconds. The second place went to Ukrainian Anastasia Merkushina (2.9 sec.).
We also note that another representative of Russia, Anastasia Shevchenko, also entered the Top 5, 35.5 seconds behind Hojnisch. She became the fourth.
