Irish athletes Sarah Lavin and Ciara Neville had no fun at the European Indoor Championships in Torun today.
Lavin, who had the best career performance in yesterday’s heats of the women’s 60m hurdles in a time of 8.06, finished 8.07 in today’s semifinals, but it wasn’t enough when she finished fourth.
Neville set her time of 7.37 in the 60-meter race and finished fourth. Again, this was not enough to reach the final. Molly Scott and Joan Healy also said goodbye in the 60m.
