In the Polish city of Duszniki-Zdroj, the European Biathlon Open Championship began today with an individual race for women. Most of the national teams sent reserve teams to the competition.
In the first race, the victory was celebrated by Polka Monika Hojnisz (0 1 0 0), who was two seconds ahead of Ukrainian Anastasia Merkushina (0 0 0 0). The third place went to Russia’s Larisa Kuklina (0 0 1 0).
The men’s individual race will take place later. Belarus will be represented by Roman Yeletnov, Viktor Krivko, Yegor Kazarinov and Ilya Avseenko.
