The month of Tai is the harvest season for the harvest sown in the month of August. Pongal Thirunal is the festival where the harvested Buddha is mixed with sugar and milk ghee and boiled in a jug to create the sun.
Capricorn enters Capricorn from Sun Lord Tanur. What everyone is looking forward to is the beginning of what can be called this solstice. It lasts for six months, from January to January. This Uttarayana was the period that Bhishmacharya was looking forward to during the Mahabharata war. These are the most productive months.
The first day of the month of Tai is the Pongal festival and the birth anniversary of the month known as the Uttarayana festival. The two will always come together. There are many times when people are skeptical about when to celebrate Pongal and when to do the monthly birth ceremony.
Pongal is a festival that has always been known to keep people refreshed. But if it is optimal to do any of the signs, then Capricorn and Aquarius are the best and the others are moderate. The Capricorn and Aquarius signs on the first day of the month are from 06.00 am to 10.00 am, whichever of these four hours is suitable, ie the Rahu period and the sign which does not occur in the present day.
Capricorn means the month of Tai and Aquarius means the pot, so it would be beneficial for us to follow the times followed by our ancestors. This year the birth takes place on Thursday the 1st of January (15.01.2021).
Good time to keep Pongal:
January 01 – 14.01.2021 – Thursday – 7.30 am – 9.00 am
Good time to pray on Cow Pongal:
January 02 – 15.01.2021 – Friday – 9.00 am – 10.30 am
Good time to celebrate Kanup Pongal:
January 03 – 16.01.2021 – Saturday – 7.30 am – 9.00 am
By 08.00 am (those who are fasting can get the full benefit if they do so from fasting) they can take a bath and perform the birth pithur darpan during the Uttarayana holy month.
