It’s been a tumultuous couple of years for Manchester United and while they haven’t won anything under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the Norwegian seems to be steering the ship in the right direction.
The Red Devils still have the chance on European and national fame on three fronts and have to assert themselves better than their three semi-finals last season.
However, a former player, Solskjaer’s old team-mate David Beckham, has given the manager his clear support.
» Ole has done really well, he is loved by the fans and the players, « he said at the launch of Inter Miami’s new away kit, quoted by the Daily Express.
» He’s respected for what he’s in his Career has done, and even in difficult times he has shown performance at United and given everyone hope.
“I recently wished him a happy birthday and called him boss. He doesn’t call me that – but I could ask him to. «
If Solskjaer can make sure the majority of his squad stay injury-free, there is no reason the Old Trafford team can’t do better than they did in the 2019/20 season.
