Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet with Chief Ministers of all states today to discuss the state of Kovid infection in the country. The meeting has been called in view of the rapid rise of the corona infection. The Prime Minister will discuss the vaccination campaign in this virtual meeting. Earlier, the Prime Minister held talks with the Chief Ministers on 17 March. He had expressed concern over the growing incidence of Kovid infection in parts of the country and asked for swift and decisive steps to control the emerging second wave.
Prime Minister Modi today administered the second vaccine of Kovid at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences-AIIMS in New Delhi. The Prime Minister said that some measures like vaccination are available to defeat Kovid. He requested the eligible people to vaccinate as soon as possible. The Prime Minister also appealed to the people to register on CoWin.gov.in.
